Frequently Asked Questions
Everything event organizers want to know about booking Ian James Corlett for your next keynote, conference, or corporate event.
Start with a free discovery call. Email nerylemus@celebworx.com with a short note about your event, or use the contact section on our main page. Ian's management team at CelebWorx will respond within one business day to schedule a call.
On the discovery call we cover your event goals, audience size, format, and which package fits your vision. No pressure. No commitment. Just clarity.
We recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance to secure your preferred date, especially for events in Q2 and Q4 which tend to fill up first. That said, Ian often has shorter-notice availability, so it's always worth reaching out.
Pricing is based on event size, location, format, and package. Every engagement is fully customized, so fees are quoted after we understand your specific needs. You can expect a transparent quote within 48 hours of your discovery call.
We offer three core packages: The Spark (keynote only), The Power-Up (keynote plus workshop), and The Super Saiyan (full immersive experience).
Yes. Ian has spoken at events across North America, Europe, and Asia. Travel and accommodation costs are additional to the speaking fee and are discussed as part of your custom quote.
No. Ian is a keynote speaker first and a voice actor second. BE LIKE GOKU delivers real leadership frameworks and actionable takeaways your team can use Monday morning. The Goku voice shows up throughout (and always gets a reaction), but it's used to reinforce the lesson, not as the main event.
This is a legitimate business keynote that happens to be delivered by the most iconic voice in anime history.
The standard keynote is 45 to 60 minutes, which fits most conference and corporate event formats. Shorter 20 to 30 minute versions are available for panels or breakout sessions, and longer full-day experiences are available with The Super Saiyan package.
Yes. Every keynote is built around your event goals, industry, and team challenges. Before your event, Ian and his team will learn about your company, your audience, and what you want them to take away. The talk is then tailored to deliver maximum relevance.
Cookie-cutter keynotes get cookie-cutter applause. We do not do that.
Ian delivers four core themes, individually or woven together:
Relentless Growth — The mindset that turns good into extraordinary.
Resilience Under Pressure — Mental toughness when the stakes are real.
The Power of Team — Building teams that fight for each other.
Leading with Heart — Leadership that actually earns loyalty.
Not at all. Ian's keynotes are designed to land whether your audience grew up on Dragon Ball or has never seen a single episode. The story serves the lesson, not the other way around.
That said, Dragon Ball Z aired to over 300 million people globally. A surprising number of people in your audience will know exactly who Goku is.
Standard keynote AV: wireless lavalier or headset microphone, confidence monitor, clicker for slide advancement, and a projector or large screen. Ian provides his own laptop and presentation. A full tech rider will be shared after your booking is confirmed.
Yes. Virtual and hybrid keynotes are available and come with the same energy and customization as in-person events. We have professional studio setup for broadcasting at high quality. Rates for virtual events are typically lower than in-person engagements.
Yes. The Super Saiyan package includes a VIP meet and greet session, executive Q&A, photo opportunities, and personalized experiences. These are often the most memorable parts of the engagement for your team.
Yes. The Power-Up package includes a 90-minute interactive workshop at your venue, designed to turn keynote inspiration into actionable team exercises. Your team leaves with frameworks, not just feelings.
Recording rights are negotiated separately and depend on the intended use (internal reference, promotional content, etc.). This is discussed during your booking process. The Power-Up package includes post-event video highlights, and The Super Saiyan package includes a custom promotional video for your event.
Yes. Ian is available for podcast appearances, media interviews, and press features on topics including voice acting, the Dragon Ball legacy, leadership, and workplace mindset. See our Press Kit for full details.
Ian is exclusively represented by CelebWorx for all speaking engagements, corporate appearances, and media inquiries. All bookings flow through his team there.
